Jacqueline A. Collins
Reverend Jacqueline A. Collins is an ordained minister who served in the United States Military, worked as a Radio D.J., performed Christian Stand-up comedy and tends to find humor in most life events to make them palatable. Collins is a native of Rochester, N.Y., was raised in the church, is married with one son and a grand-daughter. Collins loves to teach the Word of God in a non-traditional way so that it is understood and can be easily applied to real life.
The debut series Urban Tales of the Bible :Bible Stories with a Contemporary Urban Flair was written after reading the Bible to relatives and finding that urban tones and humor made it easier to understand. The Cost of Being Different is written in regards to the much needed conversation surrounding religious and societal views of the LGBTQ community and to debunk myths and give correct scriptural interpretation. Reverend Jacqueline A. Collins loves music, action movies, enjoys early morning or evening walks on the beach and of course studying the Word of God.
